Attendance matters here at RES! Please review these attached facts and resources about the importance of good attendance as well as the school attendance policy, and let us know if you have any questions.
Safety first! We do not accept transportation changes for students over the phone.
If you need to change the way that your child will be getting home from school on a particular day, you must email rves.transportation@warren.kyschools.us from your verified email that we have on file by 2:30pm. You will receive a reply confirming the change has been verified... please call the office if you haven't received a reply!
Please click on the image to the left to view car rider procedures to help keep traffic flowing for drop off and pick up. We encourage the "zipper merge" when going from two lanes back down to one, and helping keep traffic from getting backed up. If you need more time to load/unload we encourage pulling up and off into a parking spot to help prevent traffic jams.
We’d like to share a few important reminders to help keep our morning and afternoon car rider lines safe and efficient:
Morning Drop-Off
Please pull all the way to the top of the circle where the first staff member is stationed.
Remain in your vehicle. If your student needs assistance, a staff member will be happy to help them out of the car.
Kindergarteners should wear their orange vests, and preschoolers should wear their yellow vests.
Afternoon Pick-Up
Be sure to display your red car rider tag on your windshield each day.
If you do not have a car rider tag, please have a government-issued ID ready for verification.
Do not block the road between the community center and the school, as other vehicles may need to pass through.
Car Rider Line Map
There should be two lanes in the community center parking lot.
At the end of the lot, please wait for a staff member to direct you to merge into one lane around the circle.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and smooth car rider process for all Bobcats!
Car Rider spots have been purchased at Fall Festival, and are reserved for the rest of the year! Thank you to those who bid and won these spots - we appreciate your generosity.
Spot #1 - Hymer Family
Spot #2 - VanMeter Family
All other families, please start the car rider pickup line at spot #3 if you get here early and leave the reserved spots open for the winning families.
Please read the image to the left to learn about our new procedure for lost and found. Parents may also check in through the front office using the Raptor system to check the lost and found.
It is a great idea to label your child's jackets, water bottles, and lunchboxes so that they can be returned when found.
