Dear Bobcat Families,
I hope your summer break is off to a wonderful start! Our custodians and maintenance crew are already hard at work making improvements to our building while our Bobcats are away for the summer. When we return in August, be sure to stop by the library to see the new flooring! It will make this already welcoming space even more inviting and exciting for our students.
All students must be registered each year, so please make sure your Bobcat is registered for the 2026–2027 school year. Our summer office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. If you need assistance with the registration process, please feel free to call us at (270) 777-3232 during those times. Please do not delay in registering your child, as registration numbers help us plan and finalize class placements for the upcoming school year. Click here to register for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you happen to find great deals on school supplies this summer, our grade-level supply lists have already been released. Please know that these lists are simply requests, and if your family needs assistance obtaining any of the listed items, please reach out to Mrs. Casey at richardsvillefrc@warren.kyschools.us. In addition, breakfast and lunch will be served at Bristow Elementary Monday through Friday from June 1–June 26. Breakfast will be available from 8:00–8:30 AM, and lunch will be served from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. For additional information about these opportunities, please visit the Family Bobcat Bulletin.
Please save the date for our 2026-2027 Open House on Thursday, August 6, from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. We will also host Kindergarten Camp on Monday, August 3. Additional information about both of these important events will be shared later this summer.
We hope you and your family have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break. As always, please let us know if we can help in any way.
With warm regards,

Founded on the belief that everyone has the potential to lead, Leader in Me is a comprehensive PK–12 framework that nurtures student leadership, fosters a culture of trust, and boosts academic success. This proven approach empowers students, educators, and families with essential leadership and life skills, preparing them to excel.
In "The Leader in Me" framework, WIGs stand for Wildly Important Goals, which are specific, measurable, time-bound goals that help students and staff focus on essential academic or personal targets.
Our School's Attendance WIG: Our school's attendance percentage will increase from 93.59% to 96% by May 2026.
Our School's Academic WIG: By May, 75% of Richardsville students will score at or above the 60th percentile on the i-Ready Reading and Math Diagnostic.
These Wildly Important Goals help students focus on, building leadership, accountability, and self-efficacy. These goals help break down larger objectives into achievable steps using lead measures and scoreboards. The next time you're at our school, stop by our scoreboards to see how we are doing on meeting these WIGs!

Each day we hear wonderful reports of how our faculty and staff are going above and beyond, and these reports are something we would love to collect in one location and share with our faculty and staff! If there is a faculty or staff member of Richardsville Elementary who has gone above and beyond for your student/family, please take a moment to give them a shout-out. We know hearing your authentic and kind words of appreciation will make their day even brighter! Thank you for all that you do! CLICK HERE to give them a shout out!
