Dear Bobcat Families,
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our Student Parent/Caregiver Experience survey. As of Thursday, we had the highest response rate of all of the elementary schools in the district! Your time and feedback are much appreciated, and we look forward to seeing the celebrations and ideas for next steps that you have shared with us.
March is a big month for our Bobcats! Our Elementary and Junior Beta members are attending state convention in Lexington to showcase their talents. From visual arts to Living Literature to Songfest - Our students will shine in multiple areas! Our archery team is also competing in the state tournament in Louisville this month. Last, but not least, our musical cast will be putting the finishing touches on their 101 Dalmatians Kids musical this month and will be performing for the public at Warren East High School on April 1st and 2nd. We will begin selling tickets for these performance dates very soon!
This month, we also have our monthly PTO meeting, spring and class pictures, a skating unit for 2nd-6th grade students, our jump rope club school day performance, and our Leader in Me Lighthouse recertification visit! You can also expect third quarter report cards to come home on Friday, March 13th. Please make sure to review these with your child, and we encourage you to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns as we are always happy to help.
Students will not have school on Wednesday, March 18th through Friday, March 20th due to a teacher professional learning community (PLC) day and professional development (PD) days. We hope you enjoy this time with your family doing something fun!
As always, you can find information about these events and much more on our Family Bobcat Bulletin.
If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at (270) 777-3232 or at lacey.hickey@warren.kyschools.us at any time. I look forward to seeing you at Richardsville Elementary very soon!
It’s a great day to be a Bobcat!
With warm regards,

Instead of Spring Parties, we will be offering the Spring Fling this year! This is a dance that all grade levels can attend with their families. The cost is $5 per person with concessions available for purchase. All students must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the Spring Fling. The Spring Fling will happen on April 24th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. We invite you to join us for an evening of springtime fun!
Please ensure that as you are in the car rider drop off and pick up lines in the mornings and afternoons, you are staying in a single file line and not pulling around and passing other vehicles. Staying in line until the car in front of you drives away helps us keep our Bobcats safe!
We invite all 3rd-6th grade students to join us for multiplication ninja! Each week, students will have the opportunity to take a test for each multiplication fact family (1-12) from 8:00-8:30 AM. When a student passes each fact, they will earn a multiplication ninja card. This spring, students will turn in their ninja cards to earn an ice cream sundae.
