Our mission is to inspire students to engage with science and technology through hands-on experiences in robotics. We focus on fostering teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills as we build and program our robot for various competitions. Additionally, we prioritize outreach by collaborating with highly skilled professionals in the field. Their mentorship helps us gain real-world insights and enhances our understanding of robotics, making our learning experience even more enriching.
We are especially proud to have spoken with professionals such as researchers mapping the sea floor in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, as well as marine biologists and underwater photographers who shared how their work sparks change for our oceans. We've also connected with organizations like the National Park Service and many others worldwide. This exposure has inspired us to try new things, such as creating a school-wide event for the first time as part of our innovation project (see our Project page). We have been excited to build connections with our community, including partnerships with the Warren County Public Library and WBKO, through this project experience.
