I am a Mental Health Therapist with the Healthy Kids Clinic, serving South Warren Middle & High Schools. I obtained my license in marriage and family therapy in 2001 and have provided school-based services since 2018. I have an office located at both schools to serve students in a confidential setting. I see students for various reasons, including anger, anxiety, depression, self-harm, coping skills, social-emotional support, peer conflicts, & behavior issues at school. At times, just offering support as a student adjusts to a new situation.
Mentally healthy students are more likely to be ready to learn, engage in school activities, have supportive and caring connections with adults and peers, use appropriate problem-solving skills, and contribute to a positive school culture.
Students may be referred to me by: parents, school guidance counselors, school administrators, or teachers. Students may also request services and support for themselves. After receiving a referral for a student, I will contact the parent/guardian to gain consent to work with your child.
