Our Dragon Help Desk won Top 40 at the 2017 State STLP convention

Student Technology Leadership Program is a Project Based Learning class. This class is similar to Exploring Technology but is for more advanced students. Students will submit their projects for the STLP competition at the district level, and they will have the chance to qualify for state competition.

  • Sewing bags for foster kids and bringing awareness to the foster system

Sports Cards

  • Creating sports cards for athletes at HMMS

Tech Tutors

  • Teaching students and teachers different tech tools

Digital Lost and Found

  • Taking pictures and posting them to help students find their lost items

What is DPOJ?

Digital Product Online Judging

The STLP core principles of “Design. Make. Connect. Learn.” are perhaps most evident in the only event that takes place 100% in the digital realm: Digital Product Online Judging (DPOJ).

Digital product creation is part of learning in many classrooms across Kentucky. The DPOJ event provides every school the opportunity to share the products students are creating — whether it’s part of daily curriculum or a stand-alone activity with an STLP. Students are making digital content every day. The STLP DPOJ event lets you submit that work for statewide recognition as part of the STLP process.
