The Numbers

Ware Academy is grateful for the alumni, parents, grandparents and friends who offer their support and show their loyalty in dozens of ways every year!

Tuition and fees cover just 76% of the cost to provide the total Ware Academy experience. Most of the difference is made up through a comprehensive, donor-centered fundraising effort, the key elements of which are the Ware Academy Fund, the Annual Auction and the Golf Tournament. Through our special event fundraising, we seek to entertain and engage our donors, helping to build our community of friends. We all come together to have a good time and in so doing, we help the children.

Beyond these fundraising events, the Ware Academy Fund offers donors the purest expression of their faith in the school and trust in its ability to carry out its mission. This annual fund provides powerful financial flexibility to meet the school’s commitment to providing a rigorous curriculum, dedicated teachers and a character building experience for the children. The Ware Academy Fund provides critical funding for the operating budget and supports Athletic Programs and Daily Physical Education, Field Trips and Experiential Learning Opportunities, Fine and Performing Arts Programs, STEM and IT Enhancements, Professional Development Opportunities for Faculty and Staff, and Buildings and Grounds Maintenance.
