This website is designed for the students, parents and prospective parents of Warden Park Academy. You can use this website to find out about:

• The curriculum design for all of our subjects  throughout Years 7 -11. Our curriculum page outlines the key information about what our students study and when. You can use the curriculum page to find out:

  • • The curriculum intent

    • The number of hours per fortnight students study the subject

    • The key stage(s) at which the subject is delivered

    • How the subject approaches the development of students' oracy

    • How the curriculum provides challenge for all students

    • Curriculum enrichment opportunities

    • Curriculum Maps. Each subject’s curriculum map outlines:

      • • The taught curriculum content and when it is studied

        • Key assessments, including the approximate date, the type and duration 

        • Subject-specific enrichment opportunities, and when they occur throughout the curriculum 

• How the classes are arranged within each of our curriculum areas throughout Years 7 & 8 and 9-11

• The curriculum structure for Years 7 & 8 and 9-11; these are the lessons which make up a student's timetable cycle
