TRACT Instructor Job Description
As instructor of a TRACT course, you will be responsible for:
Filling out and returning a signed and completed contract toTRACT on the payment form.
Filling out and returning a signed and completed invoice to TRACT on the payment form.
Fill out Instructor contact information in the top right corner.
Fill out date.
Fill out course information. This MUST match the information in the course catalog.
Sign form.
Maintaining an attendance list to be returned on the payment form below. You MUST USE the linked attendance form.
Participants must attend all classes for credit.
Wantagh/Seaford Students: If one class is missed, the participant must submit a make- up assignment assigned by the instructor.
Wantagh/Seaford Students: If more than one class is missed, the participant will not get a certificate or credit for the course.
Bellmore-Merrick students MUST attend all 5 classes to receive credit.
Sharing and having students fill out course evaluation forms.
When the course is over, please submit this form for payment.
These forms must be received before any compensation is made.
No payment will be made unless documentation is submitted via this Google Form.
Do not send forms and request payment via e-mail.
If there are any questions or concerns regarding the course paperwork, payment or job requirements, please email Heather.
This contract may be terminated at any time by the TRACT Center due to insufficient enrollment or breach of contract.
Termination will be done in writing. Any compensation due at the time of termination will be on a percentage basis.
How much does TRACT pay for a course?
Each course is a 15-hour committment and the pay is $900 for planning and delivering instruction.
Can I co-teach with a peer?
Absolutely! As co-instructors, you will split payment and can chose to instruct in whatever model makes sense to your team!

Highly effective practices in the classroom
Engaging with parents and the community
Specialized content and pedagogy in the content areas
Strengthing student learning environments
Using data to drive instruction
Student anxiety, school avoidance, best practices in social-emotional learning and best practices in working with student mental health issues
Elementary-specific courses
Special Education (ed law compliant practices and technology, best classroom practices, student behavior issues)
Reading remediation and reading/writing workshop
Research on the science of learning and teaching.
Creative classroom practicies!
