Many families and youth in Waltham depend on public transportation to access crucial programs and services.
Through consultations with service providers in Waltham, the Waltham Partnership for Youth (WPY) has found that transportation needs of youth and families may be under addressed.
In response, WPY has partnered with the 128 Business Council to conduct a transportation study that:
This study is being guided by an advisory committee comprised of state and city officials, local agencies, service providers, youth, and parents—all who possess critical knowledge and resources that can be used to find innovative solutions to transportation challenges faced by Waltham residents.
This study is funded by SAMHSA, CHNA 18, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
