Is it Math is a semester long course for seventh graders designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore patterns and relationships while gaining mathematical understanding in unique and engaging ways. Students will work collaboratively to demonstrate the ability to think critically without the stress of accuracy and assessment. The ultimate goal will be to provide an opportunity for productive struggle through the use of highly engaging tasks.
Students will be given an overall grade of beginning, progressing, meeting, or exceeding.
