Dear Parents,

Homework will be sent home on Mondays in your child's yellow folder (Tuesday if there's a Monday holiday). These assignments should be completed and returned by Friday morning. This gives your child four days to complete their assignment. Typically, this folder will include a reading assignment, a Fundations assignment and a math assignment. The assignments sent home are ones I feel your child should be able to complete independently. However, it is always helpful for an adult to review the directions with your child before beginning and to check that the work was completed. My goal is to teach your child responsibility, organization, and accountability that will carry them through their school years.
