Please note: You may need open the main page of the Encyclopedia Britannica for Middle School database or Gale in Context World History database first before clicking on one of the direct links below. 

To cite Encyclopedia Britannica: If you hover your cursor over the box with the check mark in it located in the upper-right of the screen it will say cite. Click on the box and a new box will open on the screen. MLA citation style should be selected from the drop-down box. Then highlight copy and paste all the lines underneath the citation style box.  

To cite Gale in Context: Click on the "Cite" button in the upper-right corner of an article page. A citation box will open up and default to MLA style. Highlight and copy the ciation in the box.
