Please note: You may need open the main page of the Encyclopedia Britannica for Middle School database or Gale in Context Middle School database first before clicking on one of the direct links below. 

To cite Encyclopedia Britannica: If you hover your cursor over the box with the check mark in it located in the upper-right of the screen it will say cite. Click on the box and a new box will open on the screen. MLA citation style should be selected from the drop-down box. Then highlight copy and paste all the lines underneath the citation style box.  

To cite Gale in Context: Click on the "Cite button in the upper-right corner of an article page. A citation box will open up and default to MLA style. Highlight and copy the citation in the box.

Ancient History Encyclopedia: The Twelve Olympian Gods collection - Website contains definitions of god names, articles, images, videos, and webpage for each of the gods. 

Theoi Project: Olympian Gods & Goddesses - Website has individual pages for each god or goddess which contain explanation of god names, family tree, myth, and more. Check the main navigation menu at the top of the website for a "Heroes" drop-down menu and you will find the monters/creatures under the "Bestiary" drop-down menue. 

InfoPlease: The Olympian Gods and Goddesses - Brief explanations of each god including their definition, symbols, family history. 

History Channel: Greek Mythology, The Olympians - Very brief and lists the twelve main Olympians.
