Senior Projects

Senior Directing

The Box of Stars Theatre realizes the importance of directing and its inclusion in theatre education. Every year, seniors have the opportunity to direct a play either on their own or with a partner. Throughout this process,  students learn from each other and their actor-director relationships. In the past, we have produced several productions, our most recent student-directed being Scared Silly!

Directing During Covid

This year, seniors will be able to direct their own projects. They will no longer be limited to plays either! Seniors will pick their project, cast, direct, and produce it! Students can participate in senior projects that will vary between plays, radio plays, and readings of children books. The only thing that will limit seniors this year is their imagination!

Scared Silly

Scared Silly is a collection of short Halloween plays! Seniors were assigned them based on their Theatre Production classes. Each class independently worked on their plays, and then on the day of the show they were all put together for the first time!

Orange Is The New Glass

Orange Is The New Glass is a twist on Cinderella's story.. with a twist! It also includes many other fairytales including Goldilocks and the Wicked Witch who help Cinderella with her plan to overthrow Prince Charming. This was also a senior directed show!
