Camp Director/Wallace Staff
Randal Ramirez is the theatre teacher for Liberty High School in Lubbock. He received his undergraduate degree in theatre from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, and has a Masters Degree in Theatre from Regent University. Randal has been a performer/director for many years with a variety of groups all across the West Texas/New Mexico region. He has also spent the last several years as a consultant, board member, and camp director for the Wallace Theatre.
Randal is a former member of the Texas Educators of Theatre Association, where he served on multiple committees spanning from Membership Relations to Diversity in Schools. He also served on an AdHoc committee for the Texas UIL Advisory Board to help create a list of JH appropriate plays for official UIL competitions.
As a director, Randal has produced many award winning productions through the UIL One-Act Play contest on both the Junior High and High School level. His companies have earned multiple district, Bi-District, and Area championships, and two State Alternate awards. He strives to find ways to challenge both himself and his students through their work together. Randal is drawn to directing contemporary new works that deal with the historical fights of underprivileged minorities. "I found the theatre, and I found my home." - Audra McDonald
Camp Counselor/Wallace Staff
Arlette Silva is the Administrative Coordinator at the Wallace Theater. She has assisted in multiple Wallace Theater programs, including Wallace Weekend Players, the Green Room, Pop Up Museum, Summer Camp Counselor, and many more. Most recently, she is focused on growing the Wallace's FRAME (Flatland Rural Arts Mentorship & Education) program that will give access to the arts for all Hockley County students. Arlette enjoys reading, writing, photography, and crafting, and live music. Arlette is currently a senior at UTEP where she is working towards a bachelor’s degree in business.
Camp Counselor
Lizzie Corley is a 20 year old Live Sound Technology, Honors College Graduate. So far, she has performed in Little Shop of Horrors as Crystal, and Elsa from Frozen Junior. She has been involved with the Wallace since its first year of theater camp, when she started off as a camper. Now, she has come back as a camp counselor.
With her associates degree, she hopes to educate public school students and staff about Sound Technology, and will start her Associates of Music Education this fall.

Madi is currently a student as Texas Tech University, where she is majoring in psychology. After she graduates, she hopes to earn her master's and open up her own practice. Growing up, she had many years of dance experience, and she learned ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical. In the past she has also participated in One Act Play and musicals, with her favorites being Kodachrome and The Lightning Thief. This is her fourth year as a camp counselor for the Wallace Theatre Camp!
Camp Counselor
Kinley Jeffers is a Junior at McMurry University studying Theatre Education. She has participated in many plays and musicals since the 6th grade, with her favorite roles ever being Ursula in “Bye Bye Birdie,” and Margot in “Legally Blonde.” She has never worked with the Wallace, but is so excited to work as a camp counselor and be able to be on the teacher side of a musical! Her hopes for the future is to eventually teach high school theatre and have students compete in OAP.
