Where is Wallacea Nature Based?

WN is currently based out of Makassar in South Sulawesi, but has done long-term residencies at National Parks for specific capacity-building projects, and will conduct site visits to any location in Wallacea if the cost of travel expenses can be covered.

How is Wallacea Nature Funded?

Most of the work is voluntary, unpaid, pro-bono consultancy for government agencies, with little to no costs involved other than expert time.  Occasional paid work for foreign NGO's and institutions enables the basic overheads of the organisation to be covered.

How Can I Help Wallacea Nature?

There are numerous ways to support WN's endangered species conservation efforts, including.

1. Volunteer your time, skills and knowledge

2. Help increase engagement on WN's social media

3. Donate to help costs of travel expenses within the region

3) A foreign conservationist or biodiversity researcher looking for advice on how to legally access Indonesia for your project.
