Our professional team of caring individuals includes nurses, social workers, enrollment specialists, counselors, and mission support specialists. We are here to make certain your child is appropriately supported - physically, emotionally, and mentally - so that he/she can maximize their learning opportunities in Walker County Schools. The health, wellness, and safety of your child are our greatest concerns. We are excited to support your child from enrollment to graduation!
Our Student Services teams are based at the Advancing Education Center and are assigned to schools where they serve our students, families, staff, teachers, leaders, and community stakeholders. Our school nurses and professional school counselors are school-based and work alongside our district office teams to support students and schools.
Our department is available for consultation and collaboration across the district to help our learners achieve their academic goals.
