Dual Enrollment

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment (DE) offers students an opportunity to take a single college class and earn both high school and college credit. This program is an excellent way to get a head start on college and, ultimately, your career, allowing you to graduate from high school with college credits already earned.

Who is eligible?

• Juniors and seniors are eligible to take academic DE courses. 

• Sophomores are limited to CTAE DE Classes. These classes do not transfer to a four-year college.

• Students must have a 2.0 GPA and be on track for graduation.

How much does it cost?

The first 30 credit hours—approximately 10 DE classes—are completely free.
