Google Classroom

Most of your assignments will be turned in using Google Classroom. Since parents are not apart of the Lowndes County Google Education platform, I ask that parents and guardians please not sign up for Google Classroom. You will be unable to open the documents and could run into technology issues that cannot be fixed on our side. Your child will be signed up using their school email address. 

Clever

Clever is a single sign-on platform that will allow you to have access of all of the usernames and passwords you need for educational websites used within Lowndes County Schools.

Newsela

Newsela is an engaging platform where you are able to read current news articles regarding all content areas. Newsela will help to build vocabulary and reading comprehension all while allowing you to chose topics you are interested in learning about. 

Study Island

Study Island is a platform that effectively boost standards mastery and proficiency. It uses formative assessments to help you achieve higher reading scores. 

Britannica School

We will use the Britannica School platform for research purposes when writing essays.

Quizizz is a web-based tool teachers use for quick checks and reviews.  Students can answer at their own pace. The site includes a library of quizzes.
