Costing

The following prices are based on the 2019 school program package offered by NZSki at Coronet Peak.


  • Season Pass (high school student 13+): $169
  • 5-week program (includes transport, gear hire and lessons): TBC - between $150 and $160

Please Note:

The cost of the programme will be added to your student's school account on Wednesday 5th June 2019 and must be settled in full by Friday 5th July 2019.

An NZSki season pass ($169) must be purchased at the Snow Centre and is a requirement for participation in the ski program.


Assistance

We are very keen to support all students to access this opportunity, so if you require assistance with the payment of the programme for lessons and transport, please contact Vicki Patton (Guidance Counselor) Christopher Tweddell (Guidance Counselor) or Michelle Loggenberg (Finance Manager) on 03 442 7370. Unfortunately, no child will be able to go up the mountain unless the full cost is paid.

Season Pass

AVAILABLE FROM: 1st May 2019

School Season Passes are available for purchase from the Snow Centre located in the Station Building (cnr Shotover and Camp Streets).


  • If your student is renewing a pass from a previous year, they are not required to accompany you to the Snow Centre.
  • If your student is a new pass holder, they MUST be with you at time of purchase in order for NZSki to create their account.

Absences

Should your student be absent due to medical reasons for one (or more) days of the programme, refunds are at the discretion of NZSki. Wakatipu High School cannot refund costs associated with missed lessons.

NZSki will only consider refunds with an accompanying medical certificate. Participants will be confirmed to NZSki on Friday 31st May; any withdrawals from the programme after this date will be subject to NZSki's refund policy:

  1. Any student/s confirmed on the programme by Friday 31st May but have not participated in ANY of the programme are entitled to a refund on presentation of a medical certificate. All medical certificate must be emailed to the schools and groups coordinator no later than the last week of the programme.
  2. if an injury has occurred during the school programme that does not allow the student to continue, a refund may be offered if a medical certificate has been provided - this will be to the discretion of the Guest Services Schools & Groups Coordinator.

Normal school policy and procedure applies to all absences.
