What is Girls in Aviation Day? 

Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) invites girls and young women to explore the exciting world of aviation and aerospace! This event highlights a wide range of career paths and recreational opportunities within the industry. Attendees will engage in hands-on STEM activities, meet inspiring women working in aviation and related fields, and receive valuable guidance on postsecondary education and future careers.

Each booth offers fun, interactive crafts and activities that introduce different aviation career paths in an age-appropriate way. Every participant will go home with a backpack filled with donated swag, take-home projects, and an activity passport to track their experience. Scouts and Guides can also earn a special patch for their campfire blankets or hats!
