Term 4 is all about The Arts! We will be looking at and learning about the 4 arts: Visual Arts, Dance, Drama and Music. We have school wide activities that we will be taking part in:
- Friday Arts Programme
- the Craft Fair
- Kapa Haka Festival
- music performances
- End of Year performances
From the NZ Curriculum - Level 3
Learners will:
- Understand visual/dance/drama/music in context (in relation to historical, social, and cultural contexts)
- Develop practical knowledge (use techniques and relevant technologies to explore)
- Develop ideas (initiate and develop ideas with others to create)
- Communicate and interpret (present and respond)
