Student Handbook
Talking with a teacher
Direct communication with your child's teacher is encouraged. If you want to talk with your child's teacher and need a translator, call the school between 7:45 and 8:15 or between 3:15 and 4:00. Use the phrase:
"My name is _____. My child's name is _____. Their teacher's name is _____. I would like to talk with them and need a translator."
Many teachers use the Remind app which has translation capabilities.
Lockers
Students have lockers to store backpacks and coats. The locker may be shared with another student. It does not lock.
Shoes
Students continue to wear the same shoes all day that they wear when they arrive at school. If they wear shoes that impede physical activity, they are asked to bring shoes that would be suitable for physical activity on days that they have physical education class.
