Kalyn Davis
WHS Choir Director
Kalyn Davis is a Choral Director at Wadsworth High School, where she directs five choirs, theory, online music classes, and two musicals per year. Kalyn is in her fourteenth year of teaching and starting her tenth year at Wadsworth. She received her bachelor’s degree from Anderson (Indiana) University, and her Masters of Music Education from Kent State University.
Mrs. Davis has been an active member of NAfME, a Show Choir Adjudicator, and is looking forward to taking 150 students to Disney, Dec 2019 to perform for the Candlelight Processional in Epcot. WHS choirs have won numerous competition awards at Music in the Parks and have been involved in OMEA contests receiving top ratings. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, three little kiddos and fur babies.
Samantha Quallich
WMS Choir Director
Greetings from the WMS Choir Department! My name is Mrs. Samantha Quallich and I am thrilled to be the new choir director! I graduated from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2010 with my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. My primary instrument was piano. In December 2018 I received my Master's Degree at Kent State University in Music Education. This will be my 10th year teaching! I spent the past 9 years serving as a general music director, MS and HS choir director, musical director, drama director, and assistant marching band director. I am looking forward to working with your students and continuing to support their love for music and the arts!
Amy Muhl
CIS Choir Director and General Music Teacher
Amy Muhl is in her 20th year teaching music and her 11th year teaching at CIS, with 14 years in the Wadsworth district. She is thrilled to be back at CIS where she says it feels like home. Amy has previously taught 5-12 Instrumental Music and Marching Band for Buckeye Schools in Medina. She has her Master’s degree in Music Education from Kent State University and her Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Amy is a professional flute player and pianist, who performs flute at her home church, Sacred Heart of Jesus, and has performed with the Medina Community Band for over 20 years and serves on their board of directors as Vice President.
Amy lives in Wadsworth and loves to spend time with her family and three kids.
