We strongly believe that when students return home from school, time should be devoted to family, sports/hobby activities, and opportunities to decompress. We encourage families to read together, play games, and enjoy nature.
Therefore, our homework expectations are minimal.
Students are expected to read 20 minutes and practice math facts daily.
Students will have a monthly log to fill out, get signed by their guardian, and return to school. They will earn rewards/prizes for log completion.
Math homework will be sent home weekly, but it is OPTIONAL and does not need to be returned.
If we have concerns with your child's progress on a certain skill, we may send home additional practice work that would not be optional. This will be on a case-by-case basis.
