At the Spartan Prairie, we work to not only add to the total number of native plant species, we are also conscious of the importance of genetic diversity within a species.
On this page you'll find pictures, organized by color, of the actively growing native plants (flora) that can be found on the Spartan Prairie. Just like the restoration of the prairie, this page is continuously under construction. As more species are added, we will add them here as well; in the winter, when the restoration work slows down, we will be adding more links to more information about each species!
