Welcome to the RHS Writing Center!

The RHS Writing Center is a dedicated space within Romeoville High School where students can request assistance and engage in one-on-one sessions with highly qualified English teachers. These sessions are designed to provide intensive practice and support to help students improve their writing skills.

Individualized Support: Students can receive personalized attention and guidance tailored to their specific writing needs. This one-on-one approach allows for focused instruction and feedback.
Highly Qualified English Teachers: The RHS Writing Center is staffed by experienced and knowledgeable English teachers who are well-equipped to help students with various aspects of writing, including grammar, organization, and content development.
Intensive Practice: The center offers opportunities for students to practice writing and receive constructive feedback, which can be instrumental in enhancing their writing abilities over time.
Resource Center: The center may also have a collection of writing resources, reference materials, and writing guides to aid students in their writing endeavors.
The RHS Writing Center is located in the Room 29.
The RHS Writing Center is open ALL periods.

If you are a student and would like to receive writing support, please submit an online form below and a Writing Center teacher will reach out to you within 24 hours. You can also stop by the RHS Writing Center during periods 1-7. Please get a pass from your teacher and check in at the kiosk. We are located in the Lower LMC.

If you are a staff member and would like to submit a student for Writing Center support, please fill out the online form below and submit the student's name. You can also send a student immediately to the RHS Writing Center during periods 1-7.

Mrs. Budreau

This is my 15th year at RHS. I currently teach AP Literature and Dual Credit Advanced Composition. I am excited to help students in the writing center this year!

Mr. Rush has been an English teacher at RHS for 34 years and is looking forward to working in the Writing Center during his last year!
