How do I become a member of the library?
As a bonafide student of our college, you are automatically a member of the library. Your college ID card, which is barcoded and non-transferable, also serves as your library card.
How do I borrow books from the library?
To borrow books, present your college ID-cum-library card at the circulation counter. LL.B. Degree/B.A.LL.B. Students can borrow up to 3 books for a period of 14 days and LL.M. Students/Research Scholar can borrow upto 5 books for a period of 14 days. To select the book for borrowing, you can search WEBOPAC for books using the OPAC of KOHA – Library Management Software or directly access the stack room.
Can I renew borrowed books?
Yes, students can renew borrowed books. However, on-site renewal is temporarily kept on hold. You need to bring the book physically at the library circulation counter for its renewal.
What happens if I lose a borrowed book?
If a book is lost, you must replace it with the latest edition or pay the amount as determined by the librarian.
Is there a fine for overdue books?
Yes, a fine of Rs 5 per day is levied for books returned after the due date.
What to do in case of lose of my ID-cum-Library Card?
In this situation you have to immediately inform to the Office and after paying Rs. ____ you can have a duplicate ID-cum-Library Card.

Yes, the library provides Wi-Fi connectivity for students to access scholarly content and library resources

Yes, the library has a printer available for students to print or photocopy documents.

Yes, the library offers scanning services, provided it is feasible and does not violate copyright laws

An online recommendation form is available on the library site, where teachers, students, and patrons can suggest books. The library will consider these suggestions based on feasibility and availability.

Yes, Library has special collection of Portuguese books which are around 100 books.
