CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Call for abstracts is realized through the Morressier platform - please us this link and follow the steps
Call for abstracts is closed now. Thank you all authors who submitted their abstract.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Once the authors are notified about abstract acceptance, they can prepare full paper. Please follow the IOPs "Author guidelines for conference proceedings". Detailed summary is given in following sections.
The length of full paper should be maximum 6 pages.
Please be aware of following aspects:
Multiple authorship
As a general rule of IOP Publishing, we would advise that an author does not submit more than two articles to a conference. This includes papers that they have co-authored.
In cases where there are authors with more than 2 papers, the authors should include an author statement (for example CRediT author statement, see here). The statements should be labelled with the paper number (ID) and title. This statement should be emailed to conference organizers (iahrwg2025@fme.vutbr.cz), who will later forward this statement to IOP for their record at the time of final conference proceeding submission.
Wherever possible, supervisors should be in the Acknowledgements, unless they fulfill the authorship criteria in Author roles and responsibilities - IOPscience - Publishing Support.
Generative AI (including ChatGPT) and its declaration
If you have used GenAI in any capacity, including scoping, planning, translating, and proof reading, this must be declared, in accordance with IOP's policy: IOP Publishing does not accept or condone the use of generative AI, including large language models and AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, to write peer review reports, either fully or partially. Generative AI models are not subject experts as they lack the ability or comprehension to assume responsibility for work they have helped create and are therefore unable to adhere to the ethical standards set out by IOP Publishing. Furthermore, generative AI models do not have the legal personality to sign publishing agreements or licences. Please note that uploading any part of a submitted manuscript to a generative AI model may breach the authors’ rights to confidentiality. If a manuscript contains personally identifiable information, it may also breach data protection rights. A declaration form that needs to be submitted with the paper might be downloaded from this link (coming soon).
Morressier
Information (data fields) provided in Morressier submission platform should be consistent with information provided in the paper after final review process.
This means:
The authors and the order of listed authors should be consistent with information (data fields) provided in Morressier submission platform.
The paper title in submitted PDF must be consistent with the paper title provided in Morressier submission platform.
If this happens there must be declaration from author to be provided to organizers and then to Morressier /IOP. Please contact the conference organizers for further assistance.
Templates
Papers must be prepared using Microsoft Word or LaTeX, according to the guidelines and templates, and then convert these files to PDF.
Templates and guidelines for IOP Conference Series can be found in this link.
Citations / References
avoid self-citations (e.g. around half of the citations)
avoid too few references (e.g. only 2 references)
avoid majority of old (year of publication) references
Similarity
please avoid similarity with previously published work (similarity should be less than 30%).
Publishing License
You will retain copyright of your work, and you must agree to the terms of our Publishing Licence. This includes communicating the submission to all co-authors. The Publishing Licence can be read in full in this link.
Ethical Policy
It’s important that all authors agree prior to submission the authorship of their paper, the order in which author names are presented, and ensure all those, and only those, who meet this criteria are included as authors. We don’t encourage multiple submissions of the same author in the volume.
You must have confidence in the integrity of the contributions of your co-authors. Please read out Ethical Policy (in this link) for more information on Authorship:
After the conference, all accepted papers (which will meet the above mentioned criteria) will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science
The organizers of this meeting do their best to provide authors with all necessary information to prevent their contribution from being rejected for publication in the proceedings. Nonetheless, the conference organizers bear no risks associated with rejection of an article (from IOP side) before final approval for publication in the proceedings.
