My overall goal after completing this Nursing Program is to pass the NCLEX exam, obtain my Nursing License and work as a Nurse so that I can contribute in a meaningful way to society. I want to feel a sense of pride in what I do. "

Martin says, "I discovered this program shortly after receiving an opportunity for a promotion at work. I needed the GED to qualify for the promotion, so I visited the VAS website and enrolled. I enjoy that the course is at your own pace and, when I finally feel ready, I can take the exam. My mother has made the greatest impact on my life. She has lived a difficult life but has never given up and always grabbed life by the horns, even to this day. Some things I always try to practice, especially when meeting new people, are honesty and respect. As cheesy as it sounds, it's never too late to do the things you have always wanted to do.
