Goat

Goats are smart, curious, and inquisitive animals. They might be nature's very own weed-eaters! The 4-H Goat Project will introduce participants to the production and management of this exciting farm animal. 4-H'ers must have their own goat to take part! In addition tot he day-to-day management of a goat, project members will learn to exhibit goats at a livestock show. Tickets will be provided for 4-Hers to show their goat at the Russell County Fair. Project Books are to be turned in following the completion of the Russell County Fair. There is no charge for this project.
