Counselor applications open NOV 1, 2026 and
close Nov. 30, 2026.
There are limited spots. Please make sure you can make the required training dates (below) before applying.
Counselors-in-training do not need to apply and can select this on your camp registration (if 14 before January 1st).
Important Dates:
December 2026: Counselor Zoom Interviews
February 6th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm: Mandatory Counselor Training Session in PW*
March 5-6th: Teen and Adult Leader Training (TALT) at the 4-H Camp Center in Front Royal
April 3rd, 10:00 am-2:00 pm: Mandatory Counselor Training Session in PW*
June 30th, 10:00 am-2:00 pm: Mandatory Counselor Training Session in PW*
July 1st @ 7:00 pm: First-Time Camper and Parent Orientation Zoom Meeting.
Returning counselors are invited/encouraged to join in to share insights with new camper families.
July 13th, 10 am-12 pm: Counselor and CIT Meet and Greet in PW
July 18 - 22: CAMP!
