BlM protest fundraising

MFAngle Is Offering Feedback for Protest Donors

(You can read our statement supporting the Black Lives Matter movement here.)

Until June 10th, we are offering feedback on one piece of writing (fiction, poetry, nonfiction) to anyone who provides proof of donation (via screenshot) to any bail or mutual aid funds. Reply to our tweet, DM us, or email us at: mfanglepodcast@gmail.com.

We will provide feedback on one fiction or CNF piece of up to 3,000 words or a poem up to three pages/images long. We will give you 250-300 words of feedback in return. If you want, you may request a MFAngle team member to give you feedback from the list at the bottom of this page, but it's not mandatory.

Notes on Donations

We will continue to update these lists.

Here is masterlist of petitions, oranizations, and resources assembled by BLM itself.

Please keep in mind that there have been reports that some platforms have blocked money sent with BLM messages.

If you are not in a place financially where you can donate...

  • Some Youtube users are donating all ad revenue to bail funds and other organizations. Each view brings in more money. Here’s one that features Black musicians/artists.
  • There's a browser extension called Tab for a Cause that raises money for charity every time you open up a tab. It is currently highlighting the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
