In true mixed-methods fashion, below are both qualitative and quantitative indicators of my teaching style and experience. You will see from student feedback that I aim to provide engaging content that requires students to apply critical thinking skills to connect class content to current events. As an instructor, I aim to teach in a way that is accessible, flexible, and empathetic to the needs and lived experiences of my students. I also aim to emphasize personal values of respect and openness in my teaching.

Engaging Content that Promotes Critical Thinking

"I really loved the class structure. The assignments helped me learn the material in a way that allowed me to retain far more information than I ever would have with a test, especially the case studies, and class discussions. All in all, she made this one of the most enjoyable classes I have ever taken in college."

"Jordan is an excellent teacher. She offers examples that explain the material really well, presents theories and evidence-based material, offers critiques of psychology where necessary, and has a great vibe that made learning within her class very enjoyable."

"She made every one of her lessons enjoyable as she presented the material in a way that deepened my understanding. She is a fair grader and I agreed with all the grades I received from her. Accessibility, Flexibility, & Empathy

"I really appreciate Professor Albright's understanding of the situation we were put in this semester. She was always willing to give a helping hand on assignments and was more understanding of the hard times we are dealing with, more than any professor I've had. She was one of the best professors I've had at Tech and I truly appreciate her kind heart towards her students."

"The professor was also very understanding of personal situations and often adapted the course

based on the overall stress levels of her students. Could not have asked for a better professor to teach this course!"

"I can't thank you enough for always being so understanding and willing to work with us. Respect and Openness

"I always felt respected and valued whenever I spoke with her. She would spend time outside of the classroom helping her students understand the course material and even beyond. I had one discussion with her about wanting to be involved in undergraduate research and she went above and beyond what was expected, going as far as to help me create a resume and looking into different labs with me."
