The sphere takes shape due to hundreds of interlocking triangles to create the spherical exoskeleton. Six million pounds of steel were used in order to create the 13,000-ton dome. The construction of the sphere was so unique that a special crane needed to be constructed. This crane was not only massive in stature but also met the specific demands of the project.
Interconnected triangles around all 360 degrees of the sphere's exterior make up the spherical exoskeleton.

Advanced modeling techniques like FEM were used to analyze the stresses and deformation in the spherical structure, ensuring stability under various loads such as wind, seismic activity, and weight (Tech Vision, 2023).
Utilized to deliver pinpoint audio to every seat, ensuring an immersive and consistent auditory experience for all audience members (Reichwein, 2023).
Each seat in the MSG Sphere features haptic technology, including actuators and vibration motors, synchronized with audio and visuals for an immersive experience (Immersive Experiences, 2024). Modular design ensures easy installation and maintenance, while high-speed networks and real-time software integrate motion data for seamless feedback across all seats.
