2026 4-H Overnight Summer Camp
4-H Camp takes place at Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center. 4-H Camp is a terrific opportunity for youth to learn citizenship, leadership, and life skills through hands-on experiences while making lasting friendships and enjoying a fun-filled week at Holiday Lake. Campers enjoy being part of a larger group and participating in campfires, recreation, and classes which may include archery, canoe, kayak, swimming, arts and crafts, outdoor living skills, high ropes, riflery, leathercraft, and more! If you'd like additional information, we are just a phone call away (434-591-1950).
4-H Campers are youth ages 9 by the first day of camp through 13, who have not reached their (14th birthday by January 1, 2026) and completed the 9th grade. Youth aged 13 before January 1 may enroll as a camper and attend camp as a Counselor in Training. Youth who reach their 14th birthday prior to January 1, 2026 and have completed the 9th grade may apply to attend camp as a Teen Leader. Teen Leaders must complete an interview and extensive training prior to 4-H Camp. Contact Kim Mayo kmayo@vt.edu for a teen leader application.
