National Geographic

I'm currently interning with National Geographic creating several maps for National Geographic Magazine as well as their digital stories.

My first published map was of the arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi network. This is a first of it's kind map published on June 11, 2026. I made one version for web browser size (left) as well as one for mobile phones (right).

Fungi take up more mass than people—see how they stretch across the EarthScientists created the first-ever map of this vast underground fungal network and found it could stretch to the sun and back more than a billion times.
