Deadline extended to Sunday, October 6 by 11:59PM. The Virginia Cooperative Extension Office in Dinwiddie hosts several events and competitions throughout the fair for both youth and adults. There are static competitions where items are turned in by a deadline and judged without the person present, live competitions that require the competitor to be present to compete, and on-demand competitions where competitors come within a certain window of time to compete.
The general static competitions (ages 5 to adult) include:

Skill-A-Thon (Beef, Equine)
Registration for all events with the exception of Skill-a-Thon contest (which is a walk up event) is due by October 6, 2025.

Each year a Fair T-shirt is designed by a youth and sold at the Dinwiddie County Fair. After the entry deadline passes, the public votes on Facebook by liking the photo of the entry of their choice.

Winner will receive a free tshirt with their design, free entrance to the Dinwiddie County Fair for the duration of the event, AND 1 ride wristband for a day of your choosing! The Dinwiddie County Fair will be held October 17-19 at the Virginia Motorsports Park.
