The Women's Center's objective is to foster a Virginia Tech community that is safe, equitable, and supportive of women, while also honoring their experiences, accomplishments, and diversity. We serve Virginia Tech students, professors, and staff as a unit of the Office of the Provost. The center serves as a resource on gender-related and women's issues for the university and surrounding community; it conducts educational programs and events that increase awareness of women's concerns; and it serves as an on-campus focal point for services for survivors, their friends, and families.
