BCC

About

To coincide with an increase in black student recruitment, black student leaders from the class of 1985 proposed the establishment of the Black Cultural Center in 1984. In 1991, the BCC opened its doors at 126 Squires Student Center. The BCC is a vital part of Virginia Tech's efforts to make the campus more inviting and inclusive. Educational programs, displays, seminars, and receptions are held there. The BCC provides a welcoming and comfortable environment for socializing and studying.
