It truly takes a village to support youth development! We are always looking for adult volunteers to support Appomattox youth and 4-H programming.
With a variety of program offerings, there is something for everyone!
Currently we are looking for volunteers for:
AppBell 4-H Junior Summer Camp
Join our fun and collaborative adult volunteer team as we take youth to Holiday Lake 4-H Center for a week of singing, playing, learning, and growing!
Week-long overnight committment
June 29th - July 3rd
Shooting Education Club Volunteers
attend club meetings 1-2 times a month
support youth learning about firearm safety and shooting techniques
Summer Workshop Volunteers
single day and week-long day camp opportunties
All volunteers must complete training for their role prior to service.
If you are serving as a club volunteer or a supervising volunteer for one of our camps, background screening and an interview will also be required.
