Students will learn about agricultural products, related careers, and the roles they play in our everyday lives. Some activities may include learning about bees, extracting strawberry DNA, exploring the rumination digestive system, diagnosing goats for parasites, and more! Beyond having fun through experiential learning, students will learn about agriculture and the impact it has on our way of living while also developing life skills like collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.
This series is open to 3rd - 5th graders and will run from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM. For specific dates please scroll down. This series is offered free of charge as part of the Eleanor Hazel 4-H After School Program.
