Outreach
I actively participate in public communication of science and mathematics. I personally enjoy making videos and organizing hands-on activities, and coming up with fun and effective ways to learn.
Educational videos
During 2021-22, I was involved with the Science Media Center at IISER, Pune. I made a few videos during that time. Here is the YouTube channel link.
I have a personal channel, SciYCH, dedicated to science communication which has goofy animations and a terrible upload schedule.
I also have a math channel, NumeroDivergence, where I make videos about anything math and academia.
Writing
I have a blog where I write about technical math concepts, and general thoughts about anything tangentially (or normally) related to math.
In-person
I have conducted three Blacksburg Math Circle sessions with Nart Shalqini. Here are the slides: "Logic in Real Life", "Induction", and "Combinatorics".
I was a part of the Science Nurture Program at IISER, Pune. It involved teaching middle and high school children topics in STEM through hands-on activities.
Miscellaneous
I volunteered to take part in a documentary about Gladys West (a VT alumnus whose contributions led to the development of the GPS). The video can be found here.
