4-H Camp Registration

Children enrolled in year-round 4-H clubs in Goochland, Hanover and Powhatan (GHP) counties, as well as younger siblings of teen counselors, are eligible for Early Registration for the GHP 4-H Camp starting on Thursday, Jan 29, 2026. Camp registration opens for everyone on Friday, Jan 30; however preference is given to GHP County residents. Please use the links below based on county of residence. Slots filled on a first come, first served basis.

4-H Camp Scholarship Application - see Payment Page

Your camp registration is not complete until you have also submitted payment. Extension staff will notify families by email whether a child received an available space, or if they've been placed on a waiting list. Once confirmed your child has a spot, you must submit payment within two weeks of this notification, or your spot will be released to the next family in line. Please see the Payment page for details.

GHP 4-H Camp registration closes on May 15, 2026 unless filled prior to this date.

If your camper has a disability and desires any assistive devices, services or other accommodations to participate in this activity, please contact the Powhatan County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension at 804-598-5640 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at least 30 working days prior to camp to discuss accommodations.
