Payment

This year's camp fee is $385, which includes meals and lodging for five days and four nights, a camp t-shirt, and all class/activity supplies. 

Your camp registration is not complete until you have also submitted payment. 

Payment

Please watch for an email once you have registered your child for camp. Each county will provide specific instructions to pay the deposit of $125 or the full payment of $385. For those opting to pay with checks, please include the name of the camper in the memo section.  Checks should be made payable to VCE-Lancaster or VCE-Northumberland depending on your county.   Mail or drop off at the desired county address below. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

Request a Scholarship

Limited partial camp scholarships are available for those with a financial need. To apply, your child should submit a letter detailing why they want to attend 4-H camp and the reasons they would benefit from a scholarship.  Letters should be submitted to 4-H Extension agent Tara Brent at tbrent@vt.edu.   After receiving your request, we will be in touch to let you know if we can approve your scholarship request and what amount you should send in for your final camp payment. 

Refund Policy

If 4-H Junior Camp is cancelled by the Jamestown 4-H Center, Virginia Tech, local, state or federal government, camp fees will be refunded.

Deposit is not refundable after April 3, 2025

Full payment (minus deposit) is not refundable after May 3, 2025  $50 fee for returned checks*.
