Student Travel Grants

The VATWS is offering student grants for conference attendance!

Using the funds generated by our recent silent auctions and raffles we are happy to announce two travel grant opportunities, as explained below. Grants will cover registration, a one year membership to the VA chapter, and one workshop.

Annual State Conference: Grant for Student Attendance

The VA Chapter of the TWS is offering to assist students with attending the annual Chapter conference. VATWS is offering up to 4 grants (2 for undergraduates and 2 for graduate students) for the upcoming meeting scheduled February 2022. This grant will cover the cost of registration, a workshop of the applicant's choice, and one year membership to VA TWS. Students that are awarded a grant are not required to present either a poster or presentation at the annual meeting, but those that are presenting will receive higher priority. Recipients of this grant will be asked to complete a write up after the meeting to be included in a future VATWS newsletter.

Due date for priority consideration is 2/11/22. Please apply here.

Recipients will be notified ASAP.
