This week we took the MAP test during classes. After the test we practiced our data skills, by finding mean, median, mode and range.

Reading

In Reading, students are going to take it light this week to avoid a heavy workload during MAP testing. We will be wrapping up our Greek mythology unit and be preparing our One Pager's due at the end of the year.

Writing

In Writing, students are taking the MAP test all week.

This week we learned more about humans impact on land. We started science fair projects and will continue more next week.

We are learning about tornadoes with a true story about a family and a storm chaser from Joplin during the disaster there. The focus is how people were affected and how they worked together to recover.
