Hello! I'm Erin Steinkamp, School Counselor for grades 6 - 8th.

 As a middle school counselor, I support the academic success, personal/social growth, and career development of students.

 Middle school counselors also support students through consultation

with parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.

 Some information about me:

• B.S. Ed Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from Southeast Missouri State University

• Additional middle school certification in Communication Arts

• M.S. Ed Curriculum and Instruction from National Lewis University

• M.S. Ed School Counseling K-12 Certification from Lindenwood University - St Charles

• Additional certifications in Character Education, Peer Helping Programs, Bullying Intervention Specialist, Data Specialist, School Counseling Leadership, Anxiety and Stress Management, Trauma and Crisis Management, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

• Total Years at Valley Park Middle School - 25 years

-11 years as 8th grade US History teacher

-14 years as VPMS School Counselor
