February 3 - 7, 2025

Accelerated Math:

This  week we complete a Math project over two step equations and inequalities. Then started our unit on Ratios. We will have a quiz next week on Friday. 

6 Math:

This  week we practiced ratios. We created equivalent ratios and tables and used our understanding to answer ratio problems. We had a quiz on Friday and grades will be updated in Infinite Campus as soon as possible. We will conclude our ratios unit next Friday with a test. 

Reading

In Reading, students are learning about a team of doctors who risked their lives to investigate the yellow fever plague in the early 1900's.

Writing

As part of our newest unit, students are learning about the similarities and differences between the X-Men Marvel comic books and the historical impact of the Civil Rights Movement.
