December 2 - 6, 2024

Accelerated Math:

This week we are practicing graphing and solving inequalities. Our unit test will be Friday, December 13th over Equations and Inequalities. 

6 Math:

This week we started a new unit over Equations and Inequalities. Students practiced writing equations and inequalities and solving one-step equations. We will have a quiz on Friday, December 13th over solving equations. 

Reading

In Reading, students are going to be continuing their figurative language unit with practice and a post quiz next week.

Writing

In Writing, students are  taking their second iReady summative test. This is a major test to track growth throughout the year.

This week we wrapped up unit 1. We will be dissecting frogs during finals week. Students can opt out and do an alternative assignment. We will begin unit 2 - genetics next week.
